Stadium Challenge
Student teams design and model stadiums to house multiple sports at a major sports event. The project cost is estimated and plans for sustainable usage after the Games are made.

Years 7-11
How the day works?
The Sports Arena Challenge is suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities to explore ways of making structures.
Students teams design and model Sports Arenas to house multiple sports at a major games. The project cost is estimated and plans for the Arena use after the Games are made.
Students act as Architects, Engineers and Accountants and take responsibility for parts of the project. The students prepare a short presentation to summarise their work.
Run by a SATRO STEM Tutor, supported by industry volunteers where appropriate.
